Dead Syllable

Ends in a short vowel or a stop final consonant (sound that stops abruptly: ก, ข, ค, ฆ, จ, ฉ, ช, ฌ, ซ, ด, ฎ, ต, ฏ, ถ, ท, ธ, ฑ, ฒ, บ, ป, ผ, พ, ภ, ฟ, ส, ศ, ษ).
